Space therapy is a treatment method developed in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation in recent years. It used in many neurological diseases such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, hydrocephalus, and west syndrome. Space therapy has its origins in the clothing that astronauts use in space without gravity. These clothes are used to prevent negative situations such as muscle atrophy that may occur due to insufficient load on muscles and bones in a gravity-free environment. Propilactive inputs are not sufficient in neurological patients. This therapy creates propilactive inputs by the load on the joints. With the increase of propilactive inputs, the patient's body awareness increases. In addition to the clothes used in space therapy, a cage-shaped therapy unit is also used. Special elastic bands are used in the therapy unit. Gravity is eliminated by the tension force in the bands. Thus, patients can perform many movements without gravity that they cannot perform in the gravitational environment.

Thanks to space therapy, proprioceptive sensation improves, pathological reflexes decrease, proper posture and movement patterns are rebuilt, balance is provided, and weak muscles are supported. Exercises are performed for 3-4 hours a day, 5 days a week for 3-4 weeks.
