Thermal Mud-Balneotherapy

The temperature of the mud to be used, the area to be applied, and the method of application are determined by our Medical Ecology and Hydroclimatalogy physician. The areas where the mud is applied are usually one or more of the areas such as shoulders, back, neck, waist, hands, feet, and knees. The temperatures we apply are; hot 40-45 degrees, warm 35-40 degrees, and cold 30-35 degrees.

The most featured side of mud is its ability to retain heat and water originating from intense minerals. Thanks to its water-soluble structure, it can be easily absorbed through the skin.

Mud therapy is used for the following diseases; Musculoskeletal diseases, chronic pain conditions, rheumatic diseases, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, degenerative joint diseases (arthroses), spine degenerative diseases, lumbar hernia treatment, cervical hernia treatment, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia syndrome, sports injuries, accident post-operation, rehabilitation after neurological diseases (hemiplegia, plegia, paraplegia).
